I’ve always been creative, from a young age I was always making something, drawing or painting. I would love spending time gardening with my Dad, our garden was always full of flowers, among my favourites Roses, Sweet peas, Dahlias and Hollyhocks along with hanging baskets brimming with Summer blooms. I would love helping with the weeding and on occasions getting over enthusiastic and pulling up things I shouldn’t have!
I chose hairdressing as a career when I left school, following in the footsteps of my Grandmother, albeit a close call between that and floristry. I went on to have my own successful salon and became a ‘Colour Master’ and part time educator also. After almost 30 years due to a repetitive shoulder injury I hung up my hairdressing scissors and after a short break I picked up the secateurs to start my floristry journey.
‘Cadi & Grace’ was established in 2014 in the University Town of Lampeter, West Wales. I quickly outgrew my first shop and moved across the road to a bigger premises where you can find me today unless I’m beavering away in my Studio.
‘Cadi & Grace’ is not your stereotypical Florist shop- it is a contemporary design led boutique florist offering seasonal fresh flowers and plants, interior styling, faux botanicals, candles and gifts. As well as gift bouquets my floral offerings also include Wedding & Event flowers and floral tributes for funerals.
